Become a patron with collector edition prints…..
Many years ago, when I was just beginning my career as an artist, I felt then as I do now, that the community should help support the arts. I was young and I wanted to travel and paint. I had my heart set on living in Greece. I didn’t have much money, so I put together what I called an “artist agreement”. My idea was simple; find people who would be willing to purchase my work in advance, paying me a little every month. I had a dozen or so friends and patrons who had bought my work at one time or another. I presented my plan, explaining that at the end of the year, they would receive a work of art at a fair price and it would help me survive as an artist. It worked and did help pay for my trip. Thinking back it was a pretty good idea.
Today I work in new media, the final product is a print, and I am once again looking for patrons. To this end, I have decided to offer collector edition prints that will include a monthly payment plan.
Selected from new work, collector edition prints are Fine Art Giclée’s created from digital files, printed with archival inks, on acid free archival paper, and signed by the artist.
